Baby Wyatt's Blanket
Just in the nick of time, back in December, I finished knitting the Dream Catcher Baby Blanket for my new nephew Wyatt. When I started working on the blanket, we didn't know if J.R. and Carrie were having a boy or a girl and there was some talk about not finding out. So I picked colors that would work together either way. The blanket is made from Caron Simply Soft yarn in Persimmon, Berry Blue, Sunshine, Soft Pink, and Soft Green. It took me almost 5 months to knit it (in the midst of finishing up the chaplaincy residency, moving, etc.) and my friend Cheri helped by doing a crochet border around it since I'm still learning how to crochet. There are 7 different patterns that are used in the 25 squares. I got the pattern for free on Ravelry if you are interested in making a similar blanket.
