LOST 6X13 (The Last Recruit)

Time for my thoughts on this week's episode. There are numerous sites that do recaps so I'm not going to necessarily do that, but I am going to share my thoughts on what happened.

Season 6, Episode 13 - The Last Recruit
~I was pretty let down by this episode. In my opinion, only the last 5 minutes were helpful. Oh well, you can't have a winner every week!
~So we finally know for sure how these apparent dead people are showing back up on the island. I figured it had something to do with the smoke monster, but it's nice to have that confirmation.
~Interesting quote from Claire when talking to Jack, "you decided the moment you let him talk to you just like the rest of us, whether you like it or not, you’re with him now". Not sure if I'm sold on that though. More comment to come in a few.
~Very cool for Jack & Claire to find each other in the flash sideways. All these connections from the island that are showing up in the flash sideways lead me to believe that they all have an important part to play in each other's lives, island or no island.
~The exchange between Desmond & Sayid at the well was interesting as well. As messed up as Sayid appears to be, I know Desmond's question, "this woman when she asks you what you did to be with her again, what will you tell her", got to him.
~Jack's logic in his discussion with Sawyer has me confused. "I remember how I felt last time I left, like a part of me was missing, we were brought here because we’re supposed to do something, if that thing wants us to leave, maybe it’s afraid of what happens if we stay." He is searching so hard for something to believe in. I bet he's really missing Locke, the real John, at this point.
~Although I was thrilled for Sun & Jin to find each other again, I missed the traditional slow motion, run on the beach, dramatic music type scene.
~OK, back to what I was talking about before. Not John says, "Jack, are you alright, don’t worry, it’s going to be ok, you’re with me now!" I think it's got to be about more than just letting Not John speak to him, Jack. It has be a conscious decision. I just don't buy this.
~That's all for this week. Can't wait for the next new episode, actually kind of relieved not to have one this coming week since I'm on call again! I'd love to hear your thoughts & theories on anything I've written about or something you think I might have missed.

There's my thoughts for what it's worth. Tune in Tuesday for LOST 6X14 "The Candidate".

LOST 6X12 (Everybody Loves Hugo)

I'm having a really tough time right now physically. I just don't have the energy to blog about last week's episode. It was amazing but I have no strength to say more than that right now. I'll try to be back for the new episode. Thanks for understanding.

LOST 6X11 (Happily Ever After)

Season 6, Episode 11 - Happily Ever After
~I didn't get to watch on Tuesday night when this episode aired because I was at a work retreat. I was actually kind of thankful when I watched it Wednesday afternoon because there were several times I had to rewind & watch again to catch everything that was happening.
~Love, love, love that this was a Desmond centric episode. He's one of my favorites!
~It was so strange to grasp that it has only been days since Ben shot Desmond. The timeline is sometimes hard to deal with since we get new info only every 7 days & life on the island is continuing without the gaps we're having.
~I wonder how Penny & little Charlie are dealing with Desmond being gone. Does Penny know Desmond is with her dad? Did Charles tell Penny why Desmond needed to come with him?
~Am I right in thinking that we didn't know Widmore had a son? He didn't have a son in the original timeline did he? I was thoroughly confused with that whole part of the conversation. But evidently he was talking about Daniel.
~So strange to see Desmond & Charles working together in the flash sideways. Didn't expect that one.
~Did anyone else panic when Charlie forced the car into the water? I for a few moments thought we were going to have to watch Charlie die again! I think if you were to ask Russ & Damaris, they would tell you that I was screaming at the tv.
~The flashes Desmond was seeing in the flash sideways were almost heartbreaking. Seeing Penny, Charlie, the island, etc. & knowing Desmond had no clue just really got to me.
~I knew as soon as Charles said Desmond had to go talk to his wife that it was going to be Eloise. I was shocked by her reaction though. Guess she is a different person with Charles than she is with others (no pun intended).
~And then, seeing Daniel playing the piano & then coming to talk to Desmond. Priceless!!!! And of course Daniel remembers everything. He has to guide Desmond back to his constant!
~Tears in my eyes as Desmond & Penny finally meet at the stadium. Love, love, love their relationship.
~I'm sure most of us agree that Desmond joining Not John's group with Sayid is all part of the plan to stop Not John, save the island, save the world. I can't wait to see how he does it though!
~And what will he show the passengers of Oceanic 815? Things get more interesting every single episode!
~That's all for this week. Can't wait for the next new episode! I'd love to hear your thoughts & theories on anything I've written about or something you think I might have missed.

LOST 6X10 (The Package)

Time for my thoughts on this week's episode. There are numerous sites that do recaps so I'm not going to necessarily do that, but I am going to share my thoughts on what happened.

Season 6, Episode 10 - The Package
~I was so hopeful this week that Sun & Jin would get back together on the Island, but it didn't happen. :-(
~So, the subbies are spying on Not John's group. War is coming. Confused about whether Widmore is a good guy or not. Hmmm......
~Claire definitely has a screw loose. I wouldn't trust her with Aaron in the state she's in. I hope she can get back on track, but I don't think that's going to happen since she seems to be dead!
~Was pretty surprised when we found out that Sun & Jin weren't married in the flash sideways. But we later find out they're involved so I guess it all works out. Other than Sun's dad wanting to kill Jin! Oops!
~Sayid is really having issues - not feeling anything anymore. He & Claire are a bit alike other than Claire was feeling anger towards Kate last week.
~And how come Widmore is looking for Jin?
~Not John trying to get Sun was just not good. I was so afraid she was going to go with him. She didn't, but now what do we do with her being unable to speak English?
~Interesting to learn that Not John needs all the candidates to get off the island himself. I don't see that happening!
~Best line of the episode - "a wise man once said war was coming to this island, I think it just got here!"
~Absolutely beautiful to see Jin see his baby girl for the first time!!!!
~As soon as we found out that the package was not a what, but a who, I knew it had to be Desmond! Damaris said she could hear me yelling (she was in bed already) when we found that out!!!
~So Sun is pregnant in the flash sideways. Wonder if it's Jin's baby or the other guy, what was his name, hold on, I'll be right back, I've got to Wiki it, ok, got it, it was Jae Lee.
~Jack was so sweet with Sun when he found a way to help her communicate & also brought her the tomato. :-)
~So, so, so happy to see Desmond back!!!!!
~That's all for this week. Can't wait for the next new episode! I'd love to hear your thoughts & theories on anything I've written about or something you think I might have missed.
~A bit bummed because I'm on a work retreat Monday through Wednesday so I can't watch LOST until I get home Wednesday night. I'll be doing my best to stay spoiler free until I can watch.
