My mom sent me a link to an article this morning about using Twitter as stress relief. You can read it here - http://stress.about.com/b/2008/05/10/twitter-a-new-path-to-stress-relief.htm?nl=1. I don't even know that my mom knows I utilize Twitter. LOL!
I started using Twitter on March 27th, so I've been tweeting for 6.5 weeks now. I started using it because some friends had been using it and I thought it looked like something interesting I might try. And I have used it for stress relief such as on this day http://twitter.com/lorelaicc/statuses/781034142 or on this day http://twitter.com/lorelaicc/statuses/783809702. I also utilize Twitter as an outlet for my what the crap moments during LOST.
So, what's your reaction to the article? Do you Twitter? If yes, why did you start using it? If not, why not?
If your mom knows that you Twitter, doesn't that make you a bit nervous that she READS your twitter? My theory is to not put anything out there that I'll have to apologize for later and I *know* that my mom (and some of the peeps from church) read my blog and twitter - guess it just makes for good accountability!
ReplyDeleteWe're almost halfway there! On day 60, I'm going to start a 40 day's of healthy living challenge. You up for it?
No, I do not twitter ... but I'll probably have to start sooner or later, huh?
