I've been pondering for awhile getting a tattoo. That might surprise some of you, but others, it will not. LOL! I tend to do some crazy things. Anyway, I've known for awhile that I want something tattooed on the inside of my wrist. The struggle has been figuring out what! I've finally narrowed it down to either the word faith or the word grace. I'm leaning more towards grace. I've looked at both words in several different font faces trying to decide how I want it to look. I'd love your input on a few different things.
First, what font do you like the best?
Second, should I get this tattoo on my right wrist or my left wrist (I'm right handed if that makes any difference and I also do not wear a watch)?
Third, should I get the word tattooed where it is facing me when I look at my wrist or so that it's facing out where others can read it?
Thanks for any insight you might be willing to provide.
OK- I like #2 and #6 of grace. I think it should go one your left wrist. I also think that the tattoo should face so that you read it when you life up your wrist. If someone is curious, indulge them and just tell them. Its your wrist and you can do whatever you please!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI would get the word grace. And I would get it on my right hand because I'm right handed. That way, it would remind me every time I reach towards a person - whether I'm giving or taking - it would be a reminder to extend the same grace that God has extended to me. And I would have it facing me because it would be a reminder to me.
ReplyDeleteOf all your options, I'd go with #6. However, I'd probably ask my tattoo artist for their opinion on it first. There is a real possibility that they would have something even cooler.
If I weren't such a big chicken when it comes to things like pain and needles, I'd get a tattoo.
hi CC.
ReplyDeleteMake it so that you can read it. Like just said, you can lift your had to show it off. You will be the one looking at it for the rest of your life, you may as well be able to read it. :-)
as far as which work and font style. I like them all.
I think something happened with the fonts. They are not displaying on my computer - all the options look the same. But I will say what I told you yesterday - go with a greek font, or maybe even a hebrew one.
ReplyDeleteI think you should go with the grace one. :)
