Second, my blog entry for today involves some participation from whoever is reading this. So, if you read this, please comment. LOL!
So, are you one of those people who give names to inanimate objects? You know what I mean. Like the person who has a Ford Mustang named Sally. LOL! So, (I just realized that I use the word so alot!), anyway, I've been thinking of the 3 most important inanimate objects in my life. I'm sure you know what they are. My laptop, my cell phone, and our SUV. No surprises there, right?
Well, I've decided since these three items are so important in my life, that they need names. So, (there that word is again!) I need help with names. Here are pictures of the afore mentioned important objects so you can get a good view of them since that might help with the naming process.
First up, my beautiful new (to me) Palm Treo 700p (and you shouldn't be surprised that it has a pink case) -
Second up, my lovely laptop (it wasn't girly enough, so I had to add stickers to it) :) -
And last, but not least, is our 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe (it's maroon in color and of course has Gilmore Girls bumper stickers on the back window) -
So there we go, I'm open to suggestions for names for these three beautiful objects. Put on your thinking caps and comment away. LOL!

My first thought (only because it's spring and things are blooming) for the phone: Rose (Rosey??)...and Daisy for the laptop--because of the flowers....
Ummmm...I'm not sure. You can call your computer whatever you want. But since the phone will one day be mine and since I have to drive the care also - I would prefer nothing girly. I think we should go with a Veggie Tales theme - Qwerty for the computer, Bob for the car (because its red), and Larry for the phone.
ReplyDeleteWell, we generally name our cars according to what the license plate spells. If you can get a word or phrase from it. We haven't named our Trailblazer yet, though Emily wants to call it Trinity.....

I was quite depressed to learn than neither my home phone nor my cell phone spell anything. Too many 0s and 1s.
A theme is a good idea. We have some friends who had a Scooby theme going with their vehicles for a while.
