Day 85 of 100 Days of Blogging

Just a simple question today:

How much do you spend on fast food over the course of a month?

  1. I'd say about 10 dollars. I don't really like to eat out much, I think it's a waste of good money when you'll only be hungry again a few hours later. I prefer to spend the money to cook. I LOVE being in the kitchen and it's much healthier. I dropped my cholesterol 50 points this year by eating healthier and not going out so much. Being home on leave this month caused us to eat out A LOT and I felt sluggish and bloated most of the time and I can't wait to go back to my normal diet. Just my 2 cents worth!

  2. Probably about $20 - $25 a month, but over half of that is in drinks. Like Sonic drinks and there are many! LOL :)

  3. Depends on the time of year. In the summer, I'd say between $30-$50. But one trip to McDonald's costs our family $28. Even Taco Bell costs us more than $20 now!

  6. If you consider Subway salads and sonic drinks fast food, then about $35 dollars a month. Man, I have never looked at it like that.

  7. I'm terrified to look at the bank statement. We work at a church and we only live a mile from it. But between our house and the church is Subway, McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King and Starbucks (the biggest money-sucker). Ahhhh!!!!

  8. Right, I know. Fast foods are really expensive. I have to start taking the time to cook. I do most of the time. Going grocery shopping is aweful lately. I hate to go, just like I hate to do laundry and wash the dishes and clean the house. I hate it cause it costs so much.
