Wordful Wednesday
I know this isn't the greatest of pics, but it was such a wonderful moment for me that I want to share. I took this picture myself on Christmas morning. My precious niece Lola fell asleep on my chest. She stayed there for over 2.5 hours just snuggled into me. I should have been in the kitchen helping to cook, but instead I just sat in that chair and loved on this lovely little girl. Christmas was the first time we had seen Lola since she was about a week old. She's now about 3.5 months old. I'm thankful for the time I got to spend not only with Baby Lola but also with my family. It was a blessed time!

Christmas in New Mexico
We spent 12/23 to 12/25 at my parent's home in New Mexico for Christmas. Besides us, my mom, my dad, my grandfather, my sister, my brother-in-law, and my niece were there.
Also, here are two videos of my niece Lola that we took while there.

Tattoo - The Sequel
OK, so remember way back in June when this happened?????
Well, yesterday was the day for the sequel. Russ & I decided that we would each get a tattoo (my 2nd, his 1st) as our Christmas gifts to each other. Went back to Richard who did my first tattoo (he touched it up for me yesterday) and spent a few hours with him getting inked.
Here is Russ' tattoo (a triquetra with Yahweh in Hebrew over it):
And here is my new tattoo (the Hebrew word Shalom which translate to peace):
So what do you think? We love them!

Damaris' Christmas Program
Last night, Thursday, December 11, Damaris had her Christmas program at school. The theme was "Cool Yule" and the kids are all dressed in 50's attire. The music teacher's mom sewed all the poodle skirts for the girls - simply amazing!!!
Below are videos of the entire program. It's about 20 minutes total. Damaris is standing right behind the black microphone, on the next row back and to the right of the girl wearing the Santa hat. Enjoy!

Wordful Wednesday
I love, love, love this picture of Damaris and I. We were taking our last few family pictures for this year in front of a beautiful tree with autumn colored leaves. It was SO cold outside though. Russ was about to snap the picture and Damaris just couldn't stand it anymore and wrapped her arms around me trying to get warm. I love my princess girl!

Eternal Flame
I love, love, love Pushing Daisies. Kristin Chenoweth created the perfect ending to this week's episode by singing Eternal Flame. I'm definitely looking for her Christmas album today. She is a wonderful performer!!! Relax for a couple of minutes & enjoy Kristin singing.

About My Bubba
Yes, I know it is strange that my nickname for my hubby is Bubba. We really don't know where the nickname came from. I can't remember not calling him Bubba. In fact, I've bought him a shirt with Bubba on it and his favorite mug to drink out of is a Bubba-Keg with a football on it. LOL! Anyway, here is a meme that I'm supposed to answer about him. We'll see how well I really know him I suppose. If you do this, come back and comment so I can read your responses.

The Best Part of Waking Up...
I'm addicted to coffee. Yes, I admit it. I usually drink 2 cups (which holds 4 cups each) each morning. I typically use regular powdered creamer. I saw this at the store on Sunday & seriously, this made my morning amazing!
